Two feature levels to choose from
» The VX-350 Series portables will be available in two levels:
» VX-351 has no display and only side keys. VX-354 will have an 8-character Alphanumeric display and four programmable keys on the front.
» Both version will have 16 channels and 5 watts of power.
Long Battery Life
» The VX-350 portable has a battery life of over 11 hours on the standard 1800 mAh battery. This is with battery saver turned off!
» With the optional 2,000 mAh battery and battery saver on, the battery life extends to over 15 hours!
Wide Band Coverage
» The VX-350 will be available in three band ranges:
» VHF 134 MHz - 174 MHz
» UHF 400 MHz - 470 MHz, 450 MHz - 512 MHz
Stun, Kill and Revive
» Have you had a need to remotely disable a portable? Maybe you need to disable a lost or stolen radio. You can also Revive the radio over the air.
» These features require the FVP-25 option board.
Emergency Button Standard
» The VX-350 comes with an emergency function built in. This Emergency function, when activated, will switch to a designated channel, send an emergency unit ID and transmit with a live microphone.
Dual 2-Tone decoder
» Dual 2-tone decode is built in as well as 2-tone encode.
Option Boards
» The VX-350 has an option port to accept the following optinal boards:
» Simple inversion or rolling code encryption
» DTMF paging decoder
» MDC1200 or GE-Star ANI encoder
