GEO N8T Top display numeric pager

When just a number is not enough - Scope’s latest edition to its GEO range of pagers is a numeric pager with a difference, because it will also display pre-programmed text messages. This feature allows up to 20 different messages of 6 characters* to be programmed into the pager. You can also store a further four 12 character messages. All for the price of a numeric pager!

Main features

• Synthesized: Means you can program in the frequency you require as you need it, keeping stocks low and delivery times short
• Programmable: full feature PC software allows any of the functions to be enabled or disabled, as you wish. Essential features such as frequency and capcodes can be manually programmed using the pager buttons (this feature can be Password protected or locked out). Key functions, such as “Identity” (capcode), “Switch Off”, “Message Delete” and “Time” are Over The Air programmable.
• Text Messages: PC programmable. 20 separate 6 character messages can be stored. Up to three messages can be activated simultaneously to give an 18 character message. Additionally, up to four 12 character messages can be stored and activated by sending Tone Only calls to the pager.
• Lockable: Pager can be locked into vibrate mode. Ideal for hearing-impaired users. Features can also be locked out, so complicated menus of options are removed from the user, even to the point where the Off button is disabled, ensuring that the pager cannot be accidentally switched off. Ideal for applications, where “always on” is a prerequisite.
• Simplicity: Pager can be programmed for one button operation with just one message memory. So the pager receives the call, beeps and displays the message. The user presses the button to silence the pager and reads the message. That’s it! Because the pager is set to store just one message, the pager will only ever show the newest message received. Clear and simple!
• Pulse Alert: Coded vibrate patterns, using the Scope Special Vibrate feature, can be enabled. This allows up to four distinct pulse patterns for different messages, crucial for the hospitality market, where tray-carrying waiters need to recognise different messages without looking at the pager. Also great for noisy environments, hearing-impaired users, or covert operation in sensitive areas.
• Urgent Alert: A combined audible two tone and vibrate alert can be programmed to respond to a specific capcode and call type, for the purpose of signifying a special alert level or priority call. Ideal for emergency services use (Fire Brigades, Police, Hospitals, Security industry).
• Out of Range: Either an icon or “No Service” message can be displayed once the pager is outside the service area for a predefined time (1-15 minutes). The pager can also be programmed to vibrate until acknowledged by the user.
  
• Low Battery: Option of an audible beep or a text message “Low Cell” with a vibrate alert (ideal for hard of hearing and noisy environments).
  
• Safety Holster: An optional holster is available which can be used with the simple one button operation mode and is ideal for hospitality and service markets. Prevents inadvertent or deliberate tampering and provides extra protection. It even has a removable display window on the front for identification labelling or advertising logos.
