Major upgrade at Aberdeen Harbour
Wednesday 4th February 2009

Aberdeen Harbour has recently undertaken a major upgrade on its CCTV system
Aberdeen Harbour has recently undertaken a major upgrade on its CCTV system, with phase one focusing on the car park and the second phase on the main harbour system.
As a forward thinking company, ABH took the decision to upgrade its existing CCTV recording system before it started to deteriorate and affect the quality of recorded images.
They consulted with SCS Security Design, which has looked after Aberdeen Harbours CCTV system for over 10 years to find potential solutions. After a lengthy consultation period, an IP recording solution supplied by IndigoVision was chosen as the preferred solution. This allowed Aberdeen Harbour to archive recorded images at real time, 25 frames per second for every camera. This upgrade was designed to accommodate future expansion of the system.
