Security Manufacturer of the Year Award

IndigoVision Wins Security Manufacturer of the Year Award for Second Consecutive

IndigoVision, the leading supplier of complete IP CCTV security solutions, has won the coveted ‘Security Manufacturer of the Year’ category at this year’s Security Excellence Awards held at London's Hilton Park Lane Hotel on October 22. IndigoVision beat off stiff competition to win this prestigious award for the second year running. Unlike the other awards, which were judged by a panel of leading industry figures, the winner of ‘Security Manufacturer of the Year’ was chosen by the industry itself using an online vote.

The ‘Security Manufacturer of the Year’ category recognizes the company that has demonstrated outstanding service and made a significant contribution to the market during the last year.

"To win this award for the second year running is testament to the contribution that all our staff have made to the company’s continued success," said Oliver Vellacott, IndigoVision CEO. “IndigoVision operates with 290 authorized system integrators in 64 countries around the world and our relationship with these Partners is at the heart of our business.”

Lee Abraham, IndigoVision’s UK Sales Director, who received the award from Ronnie Corbett on behalf of the company, added, “We are also delighted that ATEC Security and Communications, one of our key UK Partners, won the award for ‘Small to Medium Security Installer of the Year’ for the second consecutive year. Working with the very best integrators is one of the major reasons for IndigoVision’s success.”

In the last year IndigoVision has launched some significant new products including a range of High-Definition (HD) IP cameras, the NVR-AS 3000 series of ‘green’ high performance Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and further integration modules for third-party access control and EPOS systems. Over 500 of the new HD IP cameras were chosen by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) for monitoring US-Canada border crossings, in what is believed to be the largest ever High-Definition (HD) IP Video surveillance system.

IndigoVision has over 1000 major CCTV surveillance installations worldwide including four Olympic Games, the 2006 Soccer World Cup, 7 major rail networks, 2 of the world's top 5 banks, 30 casinos and 31 airports. IndigoVision completely develops its technology in-house, including a rich suite of hardware products and 'Control Center' its flagship Video and Alarm Management software.
