Tuesday 3rd February 2009

Dominic Warre, a director of Scottish Communications, has retired from the company
Dominic Warre, a director of Scottish Communications, has retired from the company after over a quarter of a century of sterling service.
Dominic was responsible for the radio side of the business and over that period he built up an extremely strong relationship with farms and estates, who benefited from his knowledge of radios and how they can benefit outdoor working operations.
“Dominic made an immense contribution and we wish him well in his retirement, although he will still be involved with the company as a consultant for the estates and farming markets,” said Paul Gibson, Managing Director. At a special retirement event, Dominic was presented with a Rolex watch, as well as a McMurdo emergency rescue device to accompany him on his hillwalks. He was also given a collage of photographs taken over the last 25 years.
The company will continue to expand in the two way radio range via the existing sales and technical team, in particular Donnie Macleod, who has been with Scottish Communications for the last 10 years and is already well known to most customers.
